Two 48khz sources with audio drift

I'm having trouble syncing my audio and video. I recorded on multiple cameras and a zoom audio recorder. Everything was set to 48khz, but the audio still drifted out fairly quickly when in Final Cut (the project is also set to 48khz.) What's even more strange is I stretched out the audio signal to a mark at the end of the set, but then audio in the middle was off (the audio mark at the beginning was still fine.) Does anybody have any ideas?

I just figured out what's going on. The Zoom H6 audio files have a few gaps throughout the recording. By "gaps" I mean the file looks fine, but when you listen to it long enough you'll hear a sudden jump to later in the performance. I assume the card I was using wasn't beefy enough for the stereo capsule, two line ins, and a -12db backup file. I'll use my 32gb Sandisk Extreme Pro card from now on.

Did you try creating a multicam clip with the four files?

I don’t know how to fix it but I’m curious why it’s happening. Perhaps if you opened the files in something like MediaInfo that gives detailed information who might find something.
