Safari all but unusable after Mojave installation.

I'm in complete agreement with dmmcdee (Oct 23, 2018 10:44 PM) :- "I think the whole system slows down when Safari is active. No problem with Chrome or Firefox. I have had to give up using Safari."

Something is fundamentally wrong.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

Etrecheck – System Information

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply.

I haven't tried any of the suggestions above (yet) because I've found Safari is working quite / very well AFTER unchecking all extensions except "ABP v. 2.0.3" and "ABP Control Panel v. 2.0.3."

I thought I'd see how things go. If Safari becomes unusable again, I'll start implementing your suggestions.

However, if you'd like me to perform an EtreCheckv. 5.0.6 or the EtreCheck - System Information link you provided, and post it, I will.

Thank you, again, for your time and assistance.
