Send from Photos to Facebook

I know I have done this many times via the share icon, however just back from a 10 day holiday and I wanted to send some photos via the share icon to facebook. Facebook no longer seems to be there and searching for why this has happened brings me no information, thus the question here. Yes, I know I can export the photo to the desktop and upload from there, but wondering why the direct upload seems to be gone. Cheers ... Bob

In Safari, on the Facebook page, select to upload photos.

In the file chooser dialog that will open, scroll down all the way, until the section "Media" appears in the sidebar. Click the camera icon to select the Media Browser for photos. Then click the Photos Library and wait, until your albums appear. The first time it may take a while.

If you recently upgraded to Mojave and Photos 4.0, the sharing to FaceBoo and Flickr is no longer a built-in sharing option in Photos. Until Facebook offers a sharing extension at the AppStore, you will have to upload to Facebook using the Facebook web interface. You can access your Photos Library from the FaceBook page using the Media Browser. Sharing to Flickr or Facebook is no longer mentioned in the Photos User Guide at all: Share photos using other apps and websites in Photos on Mac - Apple Support
