Inability to log in to a specific website?

For the past 24 h, I have been unable to log into my bank website with Safari. After entering my ID and password, the "loading" message starts to flash, but nothing further happens. None of the usual indicators of loading progress appear. In the URL box, the icon at the right end is the "reload page" icon, not the "stop loading" icon. Clicking on the "reload page" icon achieves nothing.


Could this have anything to do with clearing out my cache?


I'm running version 10.14 Mojave.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. The only extensions I have active now are for Last Pass, DuckDuckGo and Open in IE (which has to be there if I want to keep Parallels. I deleted AdBlocker and tried the shut down, restart, but still no go. I can log in to the site with Chrome. Is there some way to transfer the relevant files from Chrome to Safari and recover that way? Or will I have to wait for the next iOS upgrade?
