I was excited to try the new News app until I noticed it's all left-wing agenda news. It lets you add a source like Fox News but my feed is still buried. Why can't I uninstall the app or disable all the sources?

According to this, the News app is one of the built-in apps that can be deleted. I just checked on my iPhone XS and was able to hold on the News app, it began to jiggle and the X appeared in the upper corner. Make sure that you do not have any restrictions on your device against deleting apps. Delete built-in Apple apps on your iOS 12 or later device or Apple Watch - Apple Support
Actually, the news app on Mojave cannot be deleted. I just went over to my Mac and tried and got a message stating that it’s built in and cannot be modified or deleted because it’s required by macOS .
It says the app cannot be deleted and is required by Mac OS.
I'm sorry too. I should have taken the time to realize what forum you were posting in. I cannot address issues with Mac computers, I just don't have the background. Good luck to see if someone else will respond with knowledge of this matter.

You could just not use the app.
I tried that before I posted. The app jiggles but doesn't offer the X to delete.
Sorry for the confusion. This is regarding the News app on Mac OS X Mojave.
Just hold the app until it jiggles then the x appears...tap and delete.
How to uninstall News app?
