There are some additional steps here that will help If the flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working :Remove any case, film, or attachment
A case or film might block the camera or flash and affect performance. A metallic or magnetic case or camera attachment might interfere with optical stabilization. Test the camera without any of these to find out if they're causing the issue.
Restart and test with different apps
If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, restart your device. Then test your camera using the Camera app and and another app that uses the camera.
If your device has a front and rear camera, check to see if only one or both aren't responding. To switch cameras, tap the button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
I hope this helps you.If the flash isn't working
To test the LED flash, try the flashlight in Control Center:
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen. On iPhone X or later and iPad, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Tap , in the bottom-left corner of Control Center.
If the LED flash doesn't work as a flashlight, contact Apple Support.
Check your settings
If the flash isn’t working, or it goes off every time you take a photo, check your flash settings. Open the Camera app and tap , in the upper left of the screen, to choose a different setting.
If your device is very warm or cold
If you take extended video with the flash on, or you’re using the device in a very warm environment, you might see a message that says the flash is disabled. The message remains until your device cools down.
If your device's battery level is low and your device is very warm or cold, the camera flash and the flashlight might not work. These features will work again when you charge your device and return it to a more normal temperature.
Have a great day.
