Would like to ask which does consumes more battery? Raise to wake or tap to wake?

I would agree with Philly. They both turn on the screen, and until/unless you open the device, then turn the screen off in a few seconds. I use tap, since I pick up and move my iPhone a lot at work as I move between places, so it would seem then that I just tap when I need to unlock the device. I don't see that either one would really consume more battery than the other.

My WAG is that they're equal.
Neither of these activities consumes much if any extra power.
Using either of those should not affect battery consumption.
