My Daughter can unlock my wife’s IPhone X by looking at my phone and using Facial ID

So I thought it was a one in a million chance Facial ID could be used to open someone else’s IPhone X. Well, my family has the ability to do it as well. They don’t really look much alike but it seems to fool the phone 50 percent of the timey daughter try’s my wife’s phone. What is the deal?
