Continuity Camera not working

Hey,

I just bought a new Macbook Pro and the continuity camera feature does not work.

I have several Apple products one of them is an older macbook pro and the feature works fine...

OS in updated to latest in my new mac and iPhone, I am connected to the same Apple ID both in my iphone and my new mac, same wifi, bluetooth on, and I had this “two factor authentication needs to be on” but its ON!

Now I have “device timed out”.. it works fine with my iphone and my ipads to the old mac but I cant fix it in my new one.

thank you in advance 😅

Windows 7, iTunes

I had the issue with this and tried all the advices that had been given before. i.e. signed out from apple ID, switched off BT, restarted both devices and signed in again etc. After multiple attempts it recognized the iPhone but it then went into device error - time out issue. Then I tried forgetting the MacBookPro from my iPhone and adding it again. That worked.
