Can AirPods connect with iPod Touch??

Can AirPods connect with iPod Touch?? Because I want to buy the AirPods, but I'm not sure can it connect with iPod Touch. And my system is iOS 9.3.5

The answer is really no.

If you have an older iPod Touch, like the 6-year old iPod Touch 5th generation, it cannot ever be upgraded/updated past iOS 9.3.5.

The Apple Air Pods will NOT work with old iPod Touch model.

The Apple Air Pods are compatible with the much newer iPod Touch 6th generation, which is the only iPod Touch model that can run iOS 10, 11 or 12.
