Pages Document on iPad lost

After working on a document for several hours I clicked on the arrow on Pages to go back to the menu and after doing so the document disappeared. I cannot seem to find it, I had not “properly” saved the document but it is usually automatic on the iPad, I tested it later an empty document and it was saved. Is there a way to recover the content of that document?

iPad Pages docs in settings but not in app? Hi I cannot find a number of important pages documents on my iPad I’ve tried looking in the iCloud but can only find generic sample documents not any of the ones which have involved months of work. When I go into settings - press General then select Pages I can see a list of the documents I need access to. The only cation I can then take is to press EDIT and I am not sure what to do next as EDIT seems to just mean delete. Really hope someone can help! thanks in advance

My ipad page document failed to jiggle when i tried to hold and move the document to another I tried to create folder for my page documents, but the document did not jiggle when I hold it. Failure to move it to another document
