Update Apple ID Settings!?

User uploaded fileI have been having an issue with the update Apple ID settings, I changed my Apple ID after my account was hacked. Luckily it was an email address I rarely used, now I have this constant red bubble on my settings app and when i try to get rid of it I am asked to enter my password for my old Apple ID, when I do this it tells me that my Apple ID does not exist for that email address. I have tried following other threads but I can't find this old ID anywhere on this phone apart from in the setting with the notifications. PLEASE HELP!!!

If you are using IOS 12, I read a post a couple of days ago where someone posted they had talked to Apple Support about this and were told it is a known bug that Apple is trying to correct. If you click Cancel, does the window go away?

IOS 12.1 was released. Try updating to it and see if it solves the problem.
