How to Turn off iCloud Link when sending multiple pictures ?

I would like to share a group of photos with another iPhone user via Messages. However, with my new iPhone Xs and iOS 12.0, it automatically creates a share.icloud.com link that expires instead of attaching them.

How can I turn this feature off and go back to attaching them ?

Copy iCloud photo link does not work. I have followed the instructions to copy a link to several photos and videos that I have saved in icloud photos. I want to paste that link into an email for sharing. I did not use the email link option; I used the copy link option. I have enabled Shared Albums on all my devices. When I look at Finder >> Edit >> show clipboard, nothing I try results in seeing a link copied to the clipboard. However, iCloud thinks it has copied a link. I see those several attempts listed under iCloud Links under iCloud photos on the web. When I try to copy a link from that view, I geet the same result. no link.

iCloud share link and I have been waiting for 2 days 2 days ago my friend sent me 20 Live Photo’s on messages that were an iCloud share link. Everytime I click on the link it says “waiting”, and I have checked to make sure my iCloud photos and everything are turned on and they are. She emailed them to me as well but they were completely blurry. How do I access the iCloud link??

Sharing iCloud links Hello, I just discovered that when sharing an iCloud link for a photo, the sharer’s name is visible. I was wondering if there was a way to disable that feature or to show an alternate alias. I want to be able to use iCloud links to share photos on certain platforms without sharing my full name. Thanks in advance!
