Find my Friends icon missing

Hi everyone

i just got myself a new iPhone8 in Korea (where Find my friends is blocked). Recovered all my data from iCloud account (since I had no acces to my laptop to do it via iTunes) and all is fine EXCEPT find my friends app icon being ....well gone.

When I search for it via spotlight it only pops up on App Store.

When I open App Store it shows I already have it (button “open”). When I tap it Find my friends opens immediately and works fine.

that is the only way to open it!

it is also not visible in memory management. So I can’t just delete it and install again.

how do I bring it back?

all I can think of is hopefully delete it via iTunes but I won’t see my Mac for another 2 weeks.

please help.
