Within the Files app on my iPhone, I do a search, and the file I want appears in the search results. I don't know where the file is stored, but I need to know that, so I can decide if it's in the right place, or I need to move it elsewhere (for example, what cloud service and what folder).
The search results don't tell me where it found the file. Am I missing something? Is there a way to determine the file location?

Hi ChuckHo! No, you´re not missing anything! There doesn´t seem to be any way of showing a file´s location once it´s been searched for and found in the Files app.I've just tried again after updating to iOS 12.1. Still no way! I agree with you, this should be possible! You might want to send Apple feedback about this. They won´t reply, but do take note of complaints and suggestions.

That was helpful. I took it one step further, and figured out the answer:
2. Tap and hold on the file.
2. Swipe left on the popup options and select Info. The file location will be shown on the information page.
