Fixing UID 502 permission problems

I have found that my admin User ID is set to 502. This is causing a few issues and I want get my admin user account to UID 501.

I am looking at doing a clean install of Mojave and then using the setup assistant or migration assistant to transfer data from a time machine backup.

My question is: If I do a clean install and don't create a new admin user (because that would then occupy the UID 501 slot ) then can I migrate my user 502 from the time machine backup and will it then revert to the 501 UID?

Or, can I create a fresh User with UID 501 and then migrate my data over from a time machine backup into that user ID?

How can I transfer all the information from a UID 502 account using time machine into a UID 501 account in a clean install?
