29W Apple USB-C and New iPad Pro
Will the 29W Apple USB-C charger work with the new 11â iPad Pro?
Will the 29W Apple USB-C charger work with the new 11â iPad Pro?
Yes it will, and it will probably charge it faster. The 11 inch iPad Pro comes with an 18 watt power adapter. It is always safe to go up in wattage so you could use the 18, 29, 30, 60, and 85 watt USB-C adapters with no issues. It is not considered good practice to charge your device with a lower wattage adapter {even though I have charged my 15 inch MacBook Pro 2018 with a 5 watt iPhone brick with some adapters and it didn't fry itđ}.
Update: The 29 watt adapter will probably be the fastest adapter... In other words, charging with an 85 or 60 watt adapter will not charge the iPad any faster than the 29/30 watt adapter.

After spending almost 6 hours on Apple tech support chats, and talking with Tier 2 technicians, I was told that the 30watt Macbook charger is compatible with the 11" iPad Pro. OMG - it is! Apple still doesn't show this as a charger for the iPad Pro, but when you go to the MacBook power & cables section on the store, and click on the 30w USB-C charger, under compatibility it says that it works with the 11" iPad Pro!
