The question we usually ask is, "if it does not work, can return it for full credit, and how you do get modules for your specific Mac that work, first time every time."

While you may be able to take a few weeks doing research into all the parameters that are involved in memory speeds, density, number of chips, Registers or not, timing, DIMM types, Voltages, and too many more to list, there is a far better path. Ask someone who works with Macs and has deep expertise on what memories work in them.

Deal with a Mac-Centric Vendor that has at least a memory configurator where you enter your specific model Mac, and it tells you what they will support in that computer. Better yet, they have a help line or email support, if you have additional questions. Often, such vendors provide a money-back guarantee:

"it works in your Mac,

or your money Back!"

A lifetime warranty, that provides the ability to change modules you suspect are not working properly, is also often provided.

In the US, Vendors that are recommended here that provide such services include:

OWC.net

Crucial.com

DataMemorySystems.com

If you do not have cheap access to the US market, please tell us the region you are writing from, and readers can help you find recommended Vendors you can buy from easily.
