Received email below but i never purchased anything-

the URL- https://appleid.apple.com/ direct me to confirmation-orders-receiptscanceled.com




Dear Customer Your Apple ID, has just been used to purchase PUBG Mobile Coin Ultimate Pack $55.99 on a computer or device that not previously been used to make purchases This is the details of your order and activity: Item: PUBG Mobile Coin Ultimate Pack Total Amount: $55.99 IP address: 158.64.13.20 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) If you did not make this purchase, or believe someone may have accessed your account, please go to (https://appleid.apple.com) and change your password as soon as possible Sincerely, Apple Support App

null-OTHER, Other OS, fishy email

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address. The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information such as Social Security numbers.


The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.
