Clear box randomly pops up and does not go away

Hello!

I hope to get some help for this lingering problem I am having at work with two of our Mac Desktop Computers. We are a graphic design company and are noticing that a clear box is showing up randomly on our screen. It seems to pop up mainly when we are using Adobe Photoshop. We can usually get it to go away with a restart, but it tends to pop back up within a few hours of use again. I have included a screenshot. We run Photoshop, Quark, and an Applescript constantly throughout the day if that helps at all. We appreciate any help you guys can give, we are tearing our hair out trying to figure this out!

Thanks,

Sam

Set up a test account. If the clear box appears, it's a system wide issue.

Other things to try: Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
