itunes cannot connect to iphone

My 2011 mac mini runs with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and cannot update. The itunes on my mac mini hasn't had any problems before, but when i tried to recently connect my iphone 6 to the itunes on my mac, it says I need OS X 10.11.4, but there are no updates available on the app store for my mac and when I try to download them from the apple support site, it does not work.

Itunes is not reading Iphone My Imac (late 2013) had the OX X Yosemite (version 10.10.5). Everything was working fine till a few days ago when i connected my iphone itunes gave me the following msg:"To use your iPhone with iTunes, you need to install OS X 10.11.4 (or later)."everything is up to date as per app store... can anyone help me fix this issue.
