beats studio 2 troubleshooting

when I try and charge my beats studio 2 headphones three white lights blink once then flicker and fade out then no lights will turn on again until I unplug the power cord for a couple minutes and plug it back in then the same process happens . I've tried the resets that are online but nothing happens and the problem remains
