How do I connect the new 2018 iPad Pro with USB C connection to my old Mac book pro that does not have USB C connection? I will need to connect to my computer to transfer my pictures and information to the new iPad Pro and for backups.
You need the USB-C to USB adapter from Apple Store Online. Apologize I don’t have link to Apple web page. Also, I would stick to genuine Apple products, and stay from “third party” products.
That will work if I also get a USB A to USB A cable (which they dont sell at the apple store) to connect to the USB C to USB A adapter. I was hoping for a USB C to USB A cable I could connect directly to my macbook pro which I can only find from third party dealers. Amazon basics sells one I might get. Thanks for the help.
