Charge Apple Pencil 2

Given the device is not available yet, this is the only information that Apple has released on it, Apple Pencil - Apple

Not sure it would really matter, since at this time, that version of the Apple Pencil is only compatible with the new iPad Pro, so you would only be using it with that device, so the device would be available to charge it. You will have to wait until it is released to see more information about it.

Well, there was no option for that with the original Pencil, and the new one is not backward compatible. I've seen covers for the older ones that have options to hold the pencil. I'm afraid this is going to be one of those "wait and see" situations for the case manufacturers to react to. Good luck with your purchase.

I guess I didn't take cover choices into account, but is it possible that the covers that you are looking at are not for the new iPad Pro? I would find it unusual for case manufacturers to not take that into account. But then, since the device has not been released yet, we don't know everything. You can try a chat with Apple via the Contact Support link, or use their Twitter account @AppleSupport to see if they can answer your question, or wait until it has been released and see if someone that purchases the new device can answer your question after 7 November. Or you can stop into the nearest Apple Store on that date or after to see one of the devices up close and query the sales staff about the charging options.
