When “Do not Disturb during bedtime” in on, what do texters or callers see or hear on their phones?

The car/driving Do Not Disturb works differently than the regular Do Not Disturb bedtime schedule.

From what I understand, people contacting you during the bedtime Do Not Disturb don’t get any messages back, and your phone should make no notification noises.

The caller gets the same thing as no-answer and is transferred to the answering machine.

DND while driving is identical except that a message got out advising the caller that you're driving.
