Hi,
I often have to copy/paste file path into R.
For this, I used to copy/paste "get info" from a file or folder.
But now in Mojave, I get a weird format after pasting
Any idea how to get a clean file path?

If you have the Path Bar showing in the Finder, you can select the file/folder, then right/control click on the item you want the path to in the path bar and select "Copy "xxxxx" as Pathname.

copy as Path does not show. but i solved with Option-Command-c. thanks!
Did you tried Option-Command-c to copy the file path?
Hmmm, it works on all my Macs. You have to actually right/control click on the small icon in the Path Bar.
Well for one thing, you aren't clicking in the Path Bar. I don't know if you have the Path Bar showing from your screen shot. You show/hide the Path Bar in the Finder by pressing "Command Option P" or selecting it from the Finder View menu.
