Does offline device eventually gets iMessage that is already delivered to other devices?

i have a scenario that i want to figure out but i don't have more than 1 apple device in my hands so got here to ask if anyone knows.

Lets say we have 2 apple devices logged into one same apple id. Device A and device B.

Device A receives a message from a 3rd party. The message is delivered to device A and read. While at this moment, device B is offline.

then when device B gets online, does it get the message that sent to A?

If it gets the message, does the message pop up like a new message?

Hey yang784638,

It sounds like you want to know if an iPhone that is powered off and receives a new message at a later time will still display this message as new and unread. That's a great question and it can depend on whether the recipient of this device uses more than one Apple device to check and view messages. If not, in most cases, the Message notification will show it as new with the time stamp of when the message was meant to be delivered. If the recipient uses more than one Apple device to view and check their Messages, this iPhone will simply be updated based on the actions taken from the other device(s).

Hey yang784638,

Yes, all messages will be synced across devices as long as they are signed in with the same Apple ID and connected to the internet.

So does it mean if I have other devices like a MacBook viewed this message already when the iPhone gets online it will not be prompted with the message (since it is read already on the Mac.) But when I open the Message app on the phone the message will be in the inbox? If this is the case, will message sent my myself also gets synched and downloaded to the iPhone or it will just show me the message I received?
