songs missing after CD import in iTunes

Bought a new CD.

Imported CD into iTunes (v.12.8.0.150).

It appears if all 12 songs from CD have been imported. I see the green circle with checkmark next to each song.

However, after I eject CD and try to play the CD from within iTunes, I see that tracks 4, 5, 11, are missing.

I checked the CD and I can play all 12 songs on it.

Is this an iTunes error or ?

Anyway to get iTunes to import all the songs?

Thanks for any help.

Thank you for your help!

I switched from Albums to Songs. Now, I see all 12 tracks listed.

And from reading the page you refer to, I now see that the tracks missing were duets. So, they have two names listed in the artist column. While the other tracks are just the one musician, so, one name listed as artist.

Unfortunately, what is described in the One album, too many covers section is not applicable from I can see in current iTunes.

So, I suppose I can try deleting the other artists name and see if the tracks show up in the album view.

As for error correction, I have it enabled.

Thanks.

UPDATE

OK, finally figured this out....

I right clicked on each song and selected song info.

Then in the Details tab, I unchecked the box 'Album is a compilation of songs by various artists'.

Then under the Sorting tab, I made sure the field 'sort as' only had the one artist name.

Now all the songs in the album show up!
