Attempted to burn a disc failed. Unknown error occurred (0xCOAA0402)
I have tried both dvd/cd drives.
Writing as Data cd's and MP3 disc
Updated itunes.
Updated Win10
Shutdown restarted
What am I missing? Can anyone help? :-)

Let Apple know things aren't working via Feedback - iTunes - Apple.
You could try a tear down and rebuild of iTunes as set out in the second box of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
Unfortunately the forum software doesn't let you undo a helpful or solved.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I had dropped burn speed to 1x.
I have even tried four different cd-r brands, TDK, Verbatim were the first two, then Printco and Imation.
All was working fine a few weeks ago.
Still nothing is working. :-(

Use the right-click context menu on the playlist in the sidebar instead of the file menu.
Try a lower burn speed.
