How to format FAT32 USB sticks with macOS Mojave.

I can't format USB sticks that my car audio system can read. The car audio system reads FAT32 file systems. Using Disk utility MS Dos FAT supposed to create FAT32 formatted USB-drives, but not in my case after upgrading to macOS Mojave.

Make sure you use Master Boot Record and not GUID. FWIW, most all flash drives come pre-formatted as FAT32

I indeed used GUID rather than Master Boot Record.

I will test it and hope that this will solve the issue.
