How can I add effects to multiple tracks at once?

option drag the EQ or whatever, from the first track to the next, let go of the mouse first, then that will place the plug in and same setting on the next track, and so on....

In addition to the other great ways listed already, I just create and save a channel strip with all my defaults then apply that strip to the other tracks as needed. If it's going to be repetitive, as mine often are, then I save an empty project as a template so I only even have to do that just once. Open the correct template when starting a new project.

Put the tracks together, then go into the mixer, shift-select them and insert the plugins on one of them.

Click on any of the groups' members group label thingies (red arrow) and select "Open Group Settings...":

I cant recreate that pop up menu, all mine says is COPY or PASTE, I have to put the tracks in a group first right?

Yes, for that you have to first set your plugins, then click the cogwheel in the Group Settings window and choose this command:

I have to add that for just a few channel strips (say, four or less) the method you described also works fine.
