YouTube full screen fix

Hi there, this is my 1st post so bear with me. I am not computer geek but a simple person who uses iProducts a lot.

After I upgraded to High Sierra the YouTube full screen button was not working and always buggered up the view. So I started playing around and checking things. Below is what I found for a fix.

I will pass this along as best as I can explain.

I am running a

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011)

macOS High Sierra

Version10.13.6

Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

1. Open Safari on your computer.

2. Open YouTube, but DO NOT HIT THE FULL SCREEN BUTTON

3. Click on the Safari tab in the top left area next to the Apple icon.

4. Click on the “Preferences..“ tab

5. Click on the “Websites” tab

6. On the left column “General” scan down to “Plug-ins” confirm it is current (Version 31.0.0.122) nd the box has

the blue check mark inside.

7. In the right side box “Configured Websites” youtube.com should appear. You have 3 choices, Ask-Off-On.

8. Click “On”.

That‘s it! Go to your favourite YouTube video, open it and click on the Full Screen tab.

9. Option is to also go to the bottom of the section where it says “When visiting other websites” and also Click ”On”

I hope I have explained it simple enough for it to help.
