Apple Watch and iPhone pairing issue...

I can't pair my apple watch with my phone. It was previously paired with the phone. Thought I was gonna sell it and then changed my mind. I enter my correct Apple ID and password and it tells me it is incorrect. HELP!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Can you login to your Apple ID from another device or a computer browser? This should let you confirm the login ID password, and if necessary change it. Hint... beware of Caps Lock and the numbers/symbols key.
