Sandisk Ultra Flair Flashdrive USB3.0 not recognised in MacBook Air

Hi there I have a MacBook Air 2012 (macOS High Sierra v10.13.6) and a Sandisk Ultra Flair USB3.0. My family member formatted the flash drive a few time in Mac and also in Windows 7 previously. For some reason,s when I plug the flash disk in my MacBook Air or other windows laptop now, nothing shows up. I tried to open disk utility in my MacBook air but still can't find the flash drive. My flash drive is like a brick now=( I just wanted to use it for data storage.

How could I locate this flash drive in my macbook air and then format it again?

Thanks

I followed your suggestion.

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *121.3 GB disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1

2: Apple_APFS Container disk1 121.1 GB disk0s2

/dev/disk1 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +121.1 GB disk1

Physical Store disk0s2

1: APFS Volume Macintosh HD 104.8 GB disk1s1

2: APFS Volume Preboot 21.0 MB disk1s2

3: APFS Volume Recovery 519.0 MB disk1s3

4: APFS Volume VM 4.3 GB disk1s4

I guessed that the 209.7MB disk0s1 is my flash disk? Please see the question I asked earlier this year.

Re: usb flash drive petition and formatting

How can my MacBook recognise the flash disk as 256gb again? Thanks!
