Paying for subscription, but cannot access

Is there any way to speak with a human being about a digital subscription that I am paying for monthly on iTunes, but cannot access?

Called the app people and they say I need to deal with Itunes/Apple.

Cannot see how to address this problem on iTunes or Apple site.

Some user friendliness would be wonderful......

This is a user to user support forum. No one here can access your account. Typically you need to start a conversation with iTunes support by way of a contact from although you might be able to use chat, Twitter, etc. Have you checked via your account in iTunes or the https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ pages that your subscription has been collected. If you're not receiving the service, and no one can help fix it, then you can try asking for a refund instead.
