I see that the apple watch 1 series has a recall; however, I have the same thing with my series 3. I absolutely did not hit the watch. It was on my wrist and then I look down and broken along all 4 sides, and there is no break or smash in the screen.

Yes, that’s broken. There is no recall on Series 3 at this time, and it wouldn’t make any difference to how you get it fixed. Contact Apple Support and arrange the repair.
