What is finder.app ?

When I search "finder.app" on google, yahoo or bing, I get a blank white page with the text " contact: *** " on my new Mac.

When I search "finder.app" on google, yahoo, I get the same text on my old Mac, but on bing I get an " Error 1018 Could not find host ... Cloudflare network."

What is finder.app ? I do not understand what is going on .

finder.app is a registered doman name. The owner of the domain has set up a web server with a default index.html page. In that page he has only put his email address, no other content. When you do an Internet search for finder.app you will find that domain and its web site.

If you were looking for information about the finder app on your computer the other posts have provided that information.

I searched for finder.app because it appeared during my search for my old email address (also my old Apple ID) "...@sympatico.ca".We had problems with our internet. That why we canceled and reactivated our internet several years ago and this email is not longer linked to our Bell account. With this old email, however my cousin had Facetime with me until last Saturday. Our GM dealership used this old invalid email to upgrade our Onstar with 4G LTE network and our WiFi Hotspot in our truck. There are still problems.

On my new Mac I also have Messages: "Confirm Service. Safari wants to use the restricted Service "open ". Run Service or Cancel." and "SandboxedServiceRunner wants to use the restricted Service "open". Run service or Cancel."

How do I delete finder. app ?
