shortcut sleep new (2018) MacBook Air

Hey,

I just got my new MacBook Air and realized, that the (known by me) shortcuts for putting it to sleep won't work.

I tried: - option+command+touchid

- control+command+touchid

- control+option+touchid

- just touchid with different lengths

Has anyone found out how it works now?

How can I put my Mac to sleep from the keyboard if I have TouchID? On my old Mac Pro I had the old bluetooth keyboard and I could put it to sleep with cmd-opt-eject. I have a new Mac Studio with a TouchID Magic Keyboard, but I can't use the same shortcut because the eject key is now the Touch ID key and serves a different purpose. Pressing the power button is inconvenient as it's round the back of the machine which is hard to get to, and I have problems using the sleep menu option because my mouse is very sensitive, so it usually immediately wakes up again because the mouse has moved very slightly after I selected the menu option. Is there some way to reassign the sleep keyboard shortcut? cmd-opt-F13 would be good!

how do i make the touch id button stop putting my mac into sleep mode Sometimes when I am typing I accidentally press the touch id button when i am typing and the mac turns off. I want to know how to make the button stop turning off or logging out of my computer

"Sleep" Function in System Preferences??? macOS Monterey Version 12.6 Hi: Can anyone guide me about where the Sleep function has gone? I think one used to be able to set your machine to sleep after an interval. But on our new Studio Mac preferences looks like this: And on a M1 Silicon MBP like this: How does one set Sleep parameters? Thanks!!!
