I can't seem to get rid of the dang login screen - I've followed Apple's steps without any success. Even when logged in I don't have the option to turn it off. I've tried making a new user/password from my ID just to try it (another user found this helpful) but no frickin' bueno. ***?

You can't auto login if you have FileVault enabled.
The other two restrictions have not been possible for a while.
There have been other reports of that problem, but I don't remember seeing any resolution.

Turn off FileVault is also greyed out?

Has it finished encrypting and you have unlocked the prefpane?
