My Parrot Anafi drone uses USBC. I am plugging it directly from usbc to usbc with no luck or window for importing. Even tried changing the formatting on SD card but have it on FAT32 with DCIM. Does anyone have an idea on why I cannot "import" the information (pics and videos) like a normal SD card on a camera? Thank You

If you don't see the Import tab, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your digital camera is on and in the correct mode to export images.
- Disconnect the adapter, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect it.
- Unplug the digital camera or SD card, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect.
- Restart your iOS device and turn your camera off and back on.
- If one is available, test with a different digital camera or SD card. If you can import media with a different digital camera or SD card, there might be an issue with the data on the camera or SD card. Try to import the data to another device or computer, then use your digital camera to format—or reset—the SD card. Reformatting will erase all the images on the SD card. Check the manual for your digital camera for more help.
If you can’t import some content
Apple camera adapters can import multiple types of media files from your digital camera or SD card. If the format isn't compatible with iOS, you won’t be able to view them on your device, but can import them to your computer later.
Apple camera adapters can import only content that was captured by digital cameras. You might not be able to import content that was renamed, edited, or copied to the digital camera or SD card.
Hi TPiper. I’m glad someone else is having an issue too. I agree, I tried reformatting with just a DCIM folder. Hopefully in future updates this will repopulate. My drone is just like a sony camera *sony sensor* and file system.
I am thinking future updates will address this. I’ll let you know if I find a solution (and let me know if you do too)

I have tried all of that with no luck. I reformatted the card multiople times, restarted both devices like you said. Hopefully apple releases an update with this. The option to grab photos or videos directly from the camera/drone was a huge reason for getting this iPad. Hopefully we will see this on future updates, or I may return this pro and just get the 2018 iPad.
I’m having the same issue with my Sony camera too. I think apple doesn’t see certain folders of sd cards. if apple would let you see the directory if the sd card it would impor.
