I’m assuming you’re using macOS and Mojave, here. Not Microsoft Windows.
Those docx files are Microsoft Office documents, usually created with Microsoft Word or sometimes with the Apple Pages app, and these docx files are usually used for text, and sometimes as a page layout tool with images or other content embedded. It’s quite possible to embed images in a docx file certainly, but it’s not common to convert the Word document files themselves into images.
Could you provide some background on the general problem you’re trying to solve, rather than how you’re trying to solve it here using Office documents? That general info might help find an alternative approach.
I’m guessing you’re trying to upload (something?) to what looks like a cutting machine...
I’m assuming the destination here is this Cricut machine: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricut
From the Cricut description, it seems you need to get from some input format—and probably not starting with a Word document, preferably—to an SVG-format graphics file.
If you really need to start with a Word document, then it appears that the LibreOffice app can open and read and convert (export) to SVG:

If you have a photo in some common file format or want to create a design—and you’re on macOS, and not iOS, Windows or some other operating system—then thr Flying Meat app Acorn is a tool that allows editing and photo manipulation, and can export to SVG format files.

I’ve purchased and used Acorn, and it works quite well. There are other similar tools available for macOS, roughly akin to Microsoft Paintbrush app on Microsoft Windows. Other SVG tools I’ve found, though have no experience with...

Mac OS X | Inkscape

Some potential options I’d research, though the list wil include apps that don’t work on macOS.

Some of the above is guesswork and may be wrong, or wrong for your needs. I’m quite possibly not answering the intended question. Which is why I’d asked for a few more details.
