Hello. tell me how to insert a vertical photo in the film so that it is displayed in full, and not the central part

I don't know if there is a way to force iMovie to do it without extra tools, but you can use an image editor to create a movie shaped background and then centre and scale your photo on top of it. Save the resulting image and use that in the movie.
