We are a small medical office using Dragon Medical for Mac now, but as of 11/22/18 Nuance will no longer support any Mac platform. Browsed the App Store and most are fee-for-service.
I need the computer to do the transcription in real time. Will be trying the dictation software intrinsic to the OS over the weekend, but cannot add medical terms to the dictionary. That's gonna make dictation quite cumbersome. Any and all help is appreciated.

FWIW, I believe Nuance is continuing support for Windows so you could get a cheap Windows machine or install Windows with Boot Camp. I imagine the performance would be lacking using Windows in a VM.
Unfortunately, you're kind of stuck. I'm not aware of ANY online or cloud based service, including Siri, which is HIPAA compliant. Just because dragon is ending support for the Mac platform does not mean that it will magically stop working. It should continue to work just fine for the time being.
