Does tempered glass protectors affect screen response??!

I just got my phone screen fixed yesterday and got a tempered glass protector for it to make sure this never happens again, and ever since when typing the phone is constantly not picking up on some of the letters. I am a fast typist and this is driving me crazy! Even typing this is difficult to do. Has anyone else seen this!! I’d rather take my chances on breaking the screen again than deal with the constant backspacing just to type a simple message.

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand the screen isn't responding after getting it replaced recently. I can help with this. The first step to isolate the issue is to remove the screen protector to see if this still happens after removing it. If it happens after you remove the screen protector, I suggest taking your phone back to where you got it fixed and let them know about this.

I've used the Belkin Invisishield on my iPhones for some time. I've never experienced any issues with screen response with those screen protectors. I agree with sterling r to isolate the problem, and respond from there.
