Spell check highlighting correctly spelled words

Greetings. Pages is highlighting (with an OOPSIE red underline) words that are correctly spelled. I do NOT have check grammar enabled. Just a spellcheck. Anyone know why?

Mac OS 10.13.6

Pages 7.2

Hi Tiki,

If it consistently marks the same word, it likely means that word is not in the spelling dictionary. You should be able to 'cure' that error by selecting the word (right click) and tlling the dictionary to 'Learn' that spelling.

If it marks some occurrences of the word and does not mark others, there are a couple of possibilities. You may have inadvertently included a non-visible character in or attached to the marked word, or you may have run into a bug in Pages or the spell check software it uses.

If you can readily reproduce the result, but can't determine a reason for the error mark, you may want to file a bug report with Apple. To do so, go to the Pages menu and choose Provide Pages Feedback.

Regards,

Barry

PS: If you can determine a list of words on which the spell check displays this behaviour, please post them in a reply. Others running Pages 7.2 will then be able to check if they also get this behaviour.
