Will my iphone 7+ work with bluetooth 5?
I have an iPhone 7+ and was looking to upgrade my cars head unit. The head unit I'm looking at has Bluetooth 5 technology. Will my iPhone connect to this?

Yes. Bluetooth is backwards compatible. So even though the iPhone 7+ does not have Bluetooth 5 (only BT 4.2), it will still connect to devices that have BT 5 hardware.
It will not however be possible to use Bluetooth 5 specific features however.
Other standard BT features will work fine.
