Watch went into power reserve mode and it won't turn back on.

Hi! I have a 3 day old series 4 watch operating on the latest watchOS 5. Due to the inability to charge the watch on time, the watch asked me to enable the power reserve mode when the battery percentage dropped to around 10 percent. I am unaware of how long it took to get completely discharged but I put it on charge as soon as I could. It has now been about an hour since it has been on charge but I am not getting any response from the watch. The screen is completely blank and there is no indication of it charging. I also tried holding the power on button but to no avail. Kindly help as this is getting a little worrisome.

Regards,

Anshul Roy

Check your charger is correctly connected (not half unplugged and you didn’t notice), and if you have a different USB charger available also connect the cable and test with it to rule out something annoying like a dodgy power adapter.

Please see Apple support documents If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support and Check your battery and charge your Apple Watch - Apple Support. If they don’t have a solution and you still can’t get your watch back in action, Contact Apple Support and arrange to get it inspected by Apple.
