My series 4 watch updated over night yesterday and around 8pm last night I only had 4% battery. Normally I have above 50% at that same time. I didn’t do anything different that would cause excessive battery drain other than update the watch. Anyone else experiencing that? I couldn’t find any discussions about i.

I’m sorry but your response is poor. Before watchOS 5.1.1 I had 40% or more battery left at the end of the day. Now after the install, the battery doesn’t last into the evening. What did apple break and when are you fixing it?

Ever since I updated to OS5 my battery has been draining way too fast and my force touch doesn’t work just rarely here there it work but 9 times out 10 it doesn’t work and when my force touch doesn’t work the battery drains fast no update after os5 has fixed this issue
Reboot the watch by press digital crown and buttom together. After few day, my S4's battery return to normal. I think the battery power counter had been reset by update watchOS 5.1.1.
I tried this. Battery reported it was at 100% most of the day and died in the evening again - but perhaps better it think. Will try resetting again
Hmmm.. small update. Put the watch on the charger for less than a minute and it reported it was more than 50% full. Something screwy with the battery % reporting.
Still getting this. Reminds me of the iPhone 6 shutting down problems of yester year
If battery drain still reminds, you should bring it to the Apple shop for a full check.
