WHAT DO THESE SYMBOLS MEAN IN PHOTOS

User uploaded file

I know that the tag means keywords have been applied (middle icon) . But in my photos library on the mac I do not know what the right and left most icons mean.

Could someone help? I use HIGH SIERRA and photos 3.0.

When I use get info I cannot tell what these icons mean.

They were not on another list I saw. Thanks a lot. I have 2 identical photos one with and without the icons on the right and left in my screen shot and the photos look the same. This is driving me nuts!! Thanks.

The left badge (with the three horizontal lines) means that adjustments have been applied. They lines are supposed to show adjustment sliders.

The rightmost badge is a location pin. You will see it, if a photo has a location assigned to it.

This page explains the badge overlays used by Photos 4.0 (scroll down to the paragraph "Display titles, other metadata, and badges":
