How do I purchase a song that I have downloaded with Apple Music?

I have a subscription to Apple Music. Recently I decided that I would like to purchase some of my favorite songs that I have added to my library with my Apple Music subscription. I

Also, there is no way to tell which songs in your library are songs that you have downloaded from your Apple Music subscription.

Can anyone tell me a solution to either of these problems? It appears as if Apple is making it very difficult in order to keep people subscribed to Apple Music. The fear of losing songs from ending one's subscription to Apple Music, and a lack of a way to remedy this through I-tunes is a built in motivator to keep people subscribed. Am I wrong?

Hi,

You can tell which songs have been downloaded from Apple Music by looking at iCloud status - “Apple Music”.

You can purchase the track from iTunes Store whilst you have Apple Music versions. The issue here is that you need to then delete Apple Music version then download purchased version.

It is easier to delete the track first then purchase from iTunes Store. If you have a number of tracks, try making a playlist then print list, delete those tracks then purchase.
